Joshua Hananiah, or Joshi, was born on February 23, 1997.  Joshi has the most infectious laugh, and uses it often.  He was born a little brother, and has perfected that roll since then.  His ability to annoy, to ignore, to procrastinate and let big brother clean everything up has sealed his position as total 'little brother'.  Besides being thrown into the 'middle child' place, Joshi is the most relaxed and easy going person.  Rush he doesn't, but enjoy life he sure does!  And he's pretty darn cute as well.  As we celebrated Josiah's first 'Birthday in Jesus' to commemorate the day he had asked Jesus into his heart, Joshi became very interested in it all, and asking a lot of questions.  About a month later, on April 20th, 2001, Joshi also asked Jesus into his heart.  It's a very special day in Rachel's family - as it's also her much awaited brother Zac's birthday, and then later her brother Noah's 'Birthday in Jesus'.  Joshi loves sharing his 'Birthday in Jesus' with his Uncle Noah.  And we love having Joshi in the family of God, forever!

Having followed after Josiah all his life, it's often hard for us to tell what really interests Joshi, as opposed to what he likes because Siah also likes it.  But for some time now it's Joshi, not Siah, who loves to hang out in the kitchen and help in mixing, stirring and adding ingredients to foods - maybe Chef Joshua some day?  Joshi is also proving to be a much more athletic and 'outside' boy, loving baseball, soccer and football - and though a head shorter than his older brother, will almost always beat Josiah in any race.  We see many years ahead of cheering Joshua on at kids' sporting events.
